Over the past two years, the United States has experienced an increase in crime, particularly violent crime. This research project by the Center for American Progress Action Fund summarizes a body of polling and qualitative research conducted from April to August 2022. The research explores voters’ attitudes to provide Democrats with clear guidance on how to better communicate on the issue.
