Alice Lillydahl is the project coordinator for Structural Reform and Governance at American Progress, where she supports initiatives aimed at advancing policy solutions for stronger, more representative governance. Prior to joining American Progress, Lillydahl interned on Capitol Hill for Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN), contributing to legislative efforts on justice and equity, and conducted research with the Center for Genetic Privacy and Identity in Community Settings, where she explored the intersection of scientific progress, privacy, and culture. Lillydahl holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy studies and gender and sexuality studies from Vanderbilt University, where she developed a deep commitment to shaping policy that fosters both social and structural change. Outside of work, Lillydahl enjoys reading and belting out Broadway show tunes in her kitchen.
