Shannon Bonney is the executive coordinator of Development at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, she served on the financial and development team for Duke Mutual Aid, where she worked to set up organizational operations to support efforts to provide financial assistance directly to community members in need. She also interned at HIAS Pennsylvania, where she supported efforts to provide legal and social services to immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.
Bonney was born and raised in Philadelphia and received a B.S. in environmental science and gender, sexuality, and feminist studies from Duke University.
