Dominic “Dom” Swain is the director of digital engagement on the Digital Strategy team at American Progress, focusing on audience research and insights. Before joining American Progress, he managed email engagement and web strategy at Opportunity Finance Network, and he has nearly a decade of nonprofit and public sector digital marketing experience.
Swain is a volunteer with the American Marketing Association of D.C. and an ambassador for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture. A native Washingtonian, he holds a B.S. in psychology from Howard University and an MBA in marketing and global sustainability from Fordham University, and he is a certified professional marketer. Swain lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with his partner, their son, and their cat.
