Hayley Durudogan is a senior policy analyst on the Courts and Legal Policy team at American Progress. Her policy background spans everything from reproductive rights to voting rights to judicial nominations. Prior to joining American Progress, Durudogan worked at the Alliance for Justice, where she supported the nomination and confirmation of highly qualified, fair-minded, and diverse individuals to the federal bench.
Durudogan earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law where she served as director of the moot court program and executive director of the International Human Rights Workshop. During law school, she worked at the National Women’s Law Center, the Purple Campaign, and Free Speech For People. Before attending law school, Durudogan worked in communications at NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia, where she played a key role in passing important pro-choice legislation.
In her free time, you can find Durudogan exploring Washington, D.C.’s, museums, reading historical nonfiction, visiting local bakeries, and crafting.
