Joe Radosevich is the vice president for campaigns and outreach in the Advocacy and Outreach department at American Progress. He works across teams to advance the organization’s priorities with external partners and elected leaders.
Before joining American Progress, Radosevich served in a variety of senior roles for U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D). As Gov. Shapiro’s chief of staff, he led the combined legal and communications strategy that successfully defended Pennsylvania’s election results in 2020 and expanded the role of the Pennsylvania attorney general’s office into labor and environmental crimes.
In 2016 and 2018, Radosevich managed back-to-back winning statewide campaigns, including Gov. Shapiro outperforming Donald Trump by 86,277 votes in 2016 and Sen. Klobuchar’s 24-point victory in 2018. He cut his teeth on Sen. Klobuchar’s first Senate campaign in 2006, leading a youth get-out-the-vote (GOTV) operation in his home state of Minnesota.
Radosevich graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in political communication from George Washington University. His first job was as a prep cook, and he hasn’t missed a GOTV weekend since 2002.
