Muggs Leone is the executive assistant to the executive vice president for Communications and Strategy at American Progress. He returns to American Progress after getting to know the organization as an intern in the fall of 2023. He hopes to use his research and advocacy experience to advance the organization’s progressive ideas and become a prominent advocate in the Washington, D.C., community. Outside of policy work, Leone enjoys performing in plays and musicals as well as playing Dungeons and Dragons with his dad.
