Reema Bzeih is the associate director for State Climate Policy at American Progress. She previously worked at the U.S. Climate Alliance, where she led policy analysis and programming efforts in support of state governor’s offices to advance high-impact climate action. Bzeih’s past experience in the climate sector also includes working for the United Nations, the office of U.S. Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA), and Climate-XChange. She earned both her Master of Public Policy and bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of California, Irvine.
