Rebecca Rosenberg is the managing director of Digital Strategy for American Progress. She grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Kent State University, where she studied journalism and educational studies. She began working in social media in 2012, for an entertainment trade publication in Los Angeles. Prior to joining American Progress, Rosenberg worked on the audience development and emerging platforms teams at Mashable, where she oversaw strategies for editorial, Snapchat, and Apple News. More recently, she worked on the audience development and analytics teams at Condé Nast, where she oversaw editorial and social strategies for a number of brands within the company.
