Shanée Simhoni is an associate director of Editorial at American Progress. She is originally from Connecticut and attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where she studied mass communication with a concentration in journalism, and French. During her time at UNC Asheville, she served as news editor and copy editor on the university newspaper, and she held an internship with the Asheville Citizen-Times. Simhoni grew up speaking German, studied French for nine years, and loves anything related to languages.
