Sophie Ackert is the partnerships strategist for the Digital Advocacy team at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Ackert interned at Everytown for Gun Safety and worked at an immigration law firm. She earned bachelor’s degrees from Dickinson College in political science; women’s, gender, and sexuality studies; and French. Her favorite activity outside of work is bringing a good book and her hammock to a park in Capitol Hill.
