Washington, D.C. — As Latinos head to the polls on November 2 they will do so with various issues in mind. Yet, as a new CAP Action analysis shows, when it comes to the issues Latinos care about on the economy, education, health care, and immigration, conservatives have not supported key legislation and have often stood in the way of progress.
Moreover, the House Republican “Pledge to America,” a campaign document issued last month that outlines their governing philosophy should they win the majority in the upcoming elections, does not reflect the interests and concerns of this community.
In its new memo to be released Friday, CAP Action analyzes the positions conservatives are taking this campaign season on the issues that matter to Latinos.
