Washington, D.C. — Today the Center for American Progress Action Fund released the following statement from Daniel J. Weiss, Senior Fellow and Director of Climate Strategy, on President Obama’s re-election:
The voters rejected Gov. Mitt Romney’s agenda to rely on old dirty power plants instead of clean wind and solar power.
President Obama’s victory means he can continue to reduce pollution to protect Americans’ health. it is imperative that the president continue to attack climate change by using his executive authority to reduce carbon pollution from existing power plants and other industrial sources.
